Turn your Truth into Testimony

TONIGHT at 6:30PM with Beacon Bloc

Join Mass NOW and Beacon Bloc for a workshop on how to turn your truth into testimony! No experience is necessary for this interactive workshop where State House staffers will walk you through an overview of how a bill becomes a law, and how we can turn our lived experience into impactful testimony and advance our feminist agenda.

RSVP here!

The I AM bill has been assigned to the Joint Committee on Public Health and has been assigned a hearing date of Monday, June 7th! Use the I AM bill Advocacy Toolkit to submit your testimony in support and join our Watch Party June 7th to watch the hearing live stream and chat with activists in support of both the I AM bill and Out-of-Hospital Birth Access and Safety Act (HD.3684/SD.2266) with the Bay State Birth Coalition.

Mayoral Candidate Forum

Monday, June 7th 7:00-8:00PM

Yesterday we kicked off Pride month with an exciting announcement: We're co-hosting a Boston Mayoral Candidate Fourm alongside Trans Resistance, the Transgender Emergency Fund, the Massachusetts Trans Political Coalition, Boston Dyke March & Pride 4 the People!

The forum is an opportunity to hear from candidates their positions on policies and issues facing the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC community.

We are holding this forum at the same time as Boston Pride's forum for the same reason we're holding the Trans Resistance March on the same day as Boston Pride - to boycott Boston Pride until they transition leadership and initiate a process for bylaw revisions that enact a democratic governance structure.

Read all about how LGBTQ activists upstage mayoral forum by Boston Pride by Stephanie Ebbertt in the Boston Globe.

Let's Talk about Sex (Ed) with Senator Cyr and Chastity Bowick!

Thursday, June 17th at 6:00PM

Join Mass NOW June 17th for a candid conversation with Senator Cyr as we talk about the need for comprehensive sexual health education that is LGBTQ inclusive, teaches consent and menstruation.

Upon RSVP, you will be redirected to a link to register for the zoom link and you will be added to a calendar invite with the Zoom link. The link will also be emailed one hour before the event.

If cost is a barrier to attending, email sasha@massnow.org and we'll be happy to include you!
