Thank you for building feminist community with us

Wow, what a conference!

First, we would like to thank you all for attending our 2021 Mass NOW State Conference. Together we built a virtual community of feminist from all across the Commonwealth and NOW leaders from around the country, and motivated one another towards action.

Second, we have to send a HUGE thank you to our wonderful panelists in attendance- Bria Gadsden, Diya Khullar, and Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, as they shared their hopes for a feminist future where period policy is public policy and menstrual equity is achieved. We are so grateful for their insight, knowledge, and commitment to the menstrual equity movement. You can watch the entire panel discussion here

We hope that you enjoyed the conference and panel discussion as much as we did! If you have not done so already, please complete our 2021 Member Engagement Survey. As a member-led organization, we are committed to advocating for what our members want and fighting for an intersectional feminist future. Your perspective is important to us and we value your feedback.

We hope you will continue to support our work as we continue fighting for a more intersectional feminist future!

In solidarity,

Bria Gambrell & Sasha Goodfriend

Upcoming Chapter Meeting: Abolition and Transformative Justice

We are looking forward to seeing you all at our future events. This Wednesday March 31st from 6-8 PM we are hosting our March Chapter Meeting on Transformative Justice and Abolition. Mass NOW advocates for a number of criminal justice reform bills, but we know reform is not enough. Join this consciousness raising to learn about abolition & transformative justice from some of our favorite feminist thought leaders.

You can register for our chapter meeting here, and keep your eyes peeled for future events on our event page.

Watch the ERA NOW New England Coalition Kick Off!

Last Friday we launched ERA NOW New England to bring together feminist individuals and organizations from across the region to take action to finally make the Equal Rights Amendment part of the United States Constitution. Over 25 feminist organizations across New England and 70 feminists came together for the coalition's founding.

Click here to watch our coalition kick off and hear from Kamala Lopez; filmmaker, actress, writer, director, political activist and creator of the award-winning documentary Equal Means Equal.
