Demand Your Senators Vote No on the AHCA!

People with “pre-existing conditions”—including survivors of rape and domestic violence—priced out of the market.And why? So that millionaires and billionaires can get more fat tax cuts.On Wednesday, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) came out with their assessment of the Republican’s Alternative Health Care Act and it is just as alarming as the first. We can stop this monstrous bill if we act now! Tell your Senators enough is enough. Over Memorial Day weekend, the Senate was in recess. Republican Senators were told by their leadership to use this recess to scope out the kind of backlash they might expect if they vote to repeal the ACA, and kick millions of Americans off of their health insurance. Your Senators must hear from you! If Senators do not feel pressure from their constituents, they will move to repeal the ACA, just as the House did earlier this month. What can you do? Go to town halls in your community and demand that they oppose the ACA repeal. Visit their regional offices and make phone calls. If you have a Republican senator, tell them this bill is an abomination and if they vote for it, you will remember at election time. If you have a Democratic senator, make sure they’re not negotiating with Republicans on ACA repeal.
