The Mass NOW PAC Endorses the Following Candidates

The Massachusetts Chapter of the National Organization for Women Political Action Committee (Mass. NOW PAC) is pleased to announce its endorsement of the following candidates for the following races:

State Representative - 27th Middlesex: Erika Uyterhoeven

State Representative - 7th Middlesex: Jack Patrick Lewis

Governor’s Council - District 2: Tamisha Civil

State Representative - 8th Suffolk: Jay Livingstone

Naitasia Hensey, PAC Board member says, “We are excited to endorse incredible incumbents that have been unapologetic advocates in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Additionally, we are able to direct attention and resources to elected positions outside of the House and draw attention to candidates making necessary strides in judicial and criminal justice reform. These candidates speak to the work being done to bridge gaps in political representation that have long impacted communities oppressed by patriarchy and white supremacy.”

The Mass NOW PAC will be volunteering time and power to these candidates throughout the election cycle. Please reach out to the PAC Board at pac@massnow.org if you are interested in joining us! We look forward to building coalitions and community-based power with these candidates to create an engaged and equitable Commonwealth.

The Mass NOW PAC endorses candidates who take uncompromising stances on feminist issues and are committed to Mass NOW's mission and priority issue areas, including reproductive justice, racial justice, constitutional equity, economic justice, LGBT+ Rights, and ending gender-based violence. In order to receive the support of the Mass NOW PAC, candidates must go through a rigorous endorsement process, including a multi-issue questionnaire and an interview with PAC members.

The primary election is September 3rd, 2024. Please be sure to head to the polls and join the Mass NOW PAC in supporting Representative Uyterhoeven and Representative Lewis for reelection and Tamisha Civil for Governor’s Council.
