International Women’s Day Breakfast 2024

The 26th Annual International Women’s Day Breakfast was a record breaking day for feminists in Massachusetts. We had over 300 people join us at Simmons University and felt the love from the people watching online, wow! If you weren’t able to attend, stay tuned for the zoom recording.

Thank you to Simmons University to hosting this breakfast for over 20 years, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu for her inspiring leadership and opening remarks, our moderator Karen Holmes Ward for curating the conversation and our powerful panelists; Avery Covitz, Celia Johnson Blue and Katrina Kincade for sharing stories about mentors that helped pave the way, unlikely allies and strategies to breaking barriers in male dominated spheres. 

We were joined by 20 partner organizations doing the on-the-ground work every day who tabled and shared resources with all of our attendees. Another 30 partner organizations co-sponsored the event to show their support for our collective community.
