NOW Launches National Action Program

Last month, the National Action Center launched NOW’s new National Action Program, a set of action priorities for activists around the country. NOW is working on five exciting new campaigns:

  • End the Sex Abuse to Prison Pipeline
  • Ratify the Equal Rights Amendment
  • Mobilize for Reproductive Justice
  • Advance Voting Rights
  • Protect Immigrant Rights

The intersectionality at the core of NOW’s work is a practice that places marginalized women at the center of NOW policy solutions and advocacy. The National Action Program is intended to do just that, and to propose concrete actions NOW’s local chapters, state organizations, members and activists can take, as well as the general public interested in addressing such issues.Click here to read more about the program, and check out NOW’s exciting new set of resources for activists!
