Mass. NOW PAC endorses Deb Goldberg, candidate for State Treasurer

Boston- The Massachusetts Chapter of the National Organization for Women Political Action Committee (Mass. NOW PAC) is proud to announce its endorsement of Deb Goldberg for State Treasurer.

Donna Denoncourt & Nancy Rosenblum, Mass. NOW PAC Co-Chairs said, "Mass. NOW is proud to endorse Deb Goldberg for State Treasurer. As an Overseer of Planned Parenthood and a Selectman in the Town of Brookline, she has been engaged in the challenges and issues facing women's right to privacy, wage equality and choice. We know that she will strive to implement good social policy in the Treasurer's office and be an ally to the Commonwealth's most marginalized populations."

On receiving the Mass. NOW PAC endorsement, Deb Goldberg said, "I am so proud of the endorsement from Mass. NOW because they are on the front lines fighting for issues we both care so deeply about. As Treasurer I will be a leading advocate for economic empowerment, pay equity, wage equality, civil and reproductive rights. I look forward to working with Mass. NOW to accomplish these goals starting with a win in the Democratic Primary on September 9th."

The Mass. NOW PAC endorses candidates who are committed to NOW's mission and priority issue areas, including reproductive freedom, racial justice, constitutional rights, economic justice, LGBT Rights, and ending violence against women.   In order to receive the support of the Mass. NOW PAC, candidates must go through a rigorous endorsement process, including a multi-issue questionnaire and an interview with PAC members.

 The primary election is September, 9 2014. Please be sure to head to the polls and join the Mass. NOW PAC in supporting Deb Goldberg for State Treasurer.
