Mass NOW Speaks Out Against Wu's City Council Vote

Mass NOW is profoundly disappointed in the decision by Michelle Wu to support Bill Linehan as Boston next City Council President. We are facing a pivotal moment in the city’s history – and the residents of Boston have sent a clear message that this is the time for progress and to better foster a community of equality and inclusion. Councilor Linehan’s regressive attitude and track record of antiquated ideas speaks for itself. We were proud to support Michelle Wu during her campaign, but find her first decision as a Boston City Councilor extremely disappointing to the members of Mass NOW.
